Is Hell Real?

Is there a place of endless torment and suffering, a fiery torture chamber of never-ending agony and pain called hell?

Transcript:

The Constant Church of God presents clear answers to your questions, directly from the Bible!

Millions of human beings believe that wicked, unrepentant sinners are forever condemned to a hell of endless torment and suffering!

Is there such a hell?  Does it actually exist?

What does the Bible say?

In the Old Testament, hell is translated from the Hebrew word sheol.

In the New Testament, hell comes from three different Greek words hades, tartaroo and gehenna.

Both sheol and hades actually refer to the grave.

The Greek word tartaroo is used only once, and it refers to a condition of restraint or confinement imposed by God on Satan and his demons.

Never to man.

The third Greek word translated “hell” in the New Testament is gehenna.

Gehenna was Jerusalem’s dump site where garbage, dead animals and the corpses of criminals were burned up.

The waste kept the fires burning; but once the trash and dead bodies were consumed, the flames died out.

This gehenna is the only hell associated with fire in the Bible.

The Bible never describes a hell-fire where condemned sinners are tortured forever.

It does not exist!

It is a myth.

God is not a cruel monster who inflicts never-ending pain on humans because of their sins.

The penalty of the defiant wicked who reject God’s rule, His laws and His ways after they have received their ONE and only opportunity to learn His truth is death in what the Bible calls the lake of fire.

The Almighty God does not want anyone to perish in this lake of fire!

He wants everyone to enjoy eternal life in the Kingdom of God!
