Right or Wrong, Who Decides?

WHO is the ultimate authority of what is right and what is wrong?

Transcript:

The Constant Church of God presents clear answers to your questions, directly from the Bible!

Man believes he is free to choose for himself what is right and what is wrong.

Every man doing what is right in his own eyes.

Is that what the Bible says?

Open your bibles and see for yourselves, and you will find that the Bible says, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but it leads to DEATH.”

God is the final authority. He and only He determines what is right and what is wrong.

He is the Lawgiver.

In His Law, His Ten Commandments, He has clearly laid out what is right and what is wrong.

And that law is perfect, right and good.

And He tells man to choose. He does not force, He does not compel man to keep His Law.

“It’s up to you,” God says. “YOU choose. Obey my law and live or break my law and die. Life or death, blessing or cursing. Your choice.”

And God says, “I hope you choose life.

Choose MY way and not yours so that all will go well with you and your children FOR EVER.”

But aren’t those Ten Commandments an obsolete Jewish law, devised by Moses and given to the Israelites at Sinai?

The truth is that the Ten Commandments were already in full force and effect long before Moses and the Israelites arrived at Sinai.

It was this law that Lucifer violated, and he became Satan the devil.

It was this law that God taught Adam and Eve, but they chose to go Satan’s way instead.

But didn’t Jesus Himself do away with those 10 Commandments?

He did no such thing.

If He had done away with the Ten Commandments, why did He tell the rich, young man, “Keep the commandments”?

And Jesus told His disciples, “I am not come to dissolve or annul the law but to fulfill it."

He came to fulfill, to magnify the Ten Commandments, by keeping them not only in the letter but also in the spirit or intent of the law.

He did not do away with them.

But weren’t the Ten Commandments done away by Jesus’ death?

No, they weren’t.

What was done away when Jesus died were the ceremonial laws of animal sacrifices and purification rituals.

Not the Ten Commandments.

Now, you don’t have to believe me.

Open your Bibles and see for yourselves this absolute proof that all God’s Ten Commandments are still in full force and effect TODAY.

In chapter 22,  the last chapter of the book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible — what will you find?

The Ten Commandments!

If that perfect law of God is no longer valid, if it’s been done away by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ so now we don’t have to keep it, why then does it say in the 14th verse,“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life. . .?”

The answer is crystal clear.

The Ten Commandments have not been done away!

The Bible says they stand fast FOREVER!

God knows best. He knows what is good for us and what is bad for us.

Right or wrong, who decides?

God does.

He determines right from wrong.

Do the right thing and you’ll be headed in the right direction and you’ll end up in the right place every time.

Your choice, God says.
