In the past two episodes of the timeline of prophecy, we covered the first five seals Jesus Christ opened in the book of Revelation.

The first seal revealed false teachers preaching false doctrines.

Next comes the second seal of wars, rumors of war, climaxing in world wars.

Followed by the third seal of famines and a severe scarcity of essential food supplies.

Leading to widespread disease epidemics or the pestilences of the fourth seal.

And then the fifth seal of the great tribulation.

That time of unprecedented trouble upon modern Israel, severe persecution upon God’s Church and the threat of nuclear annihilation on all of humanity.

Now comes the sixth seal, when God begins to supernaturally intervene with a dramatic display of overwhelming power and might.

Don’t take my word for it. Open your Bible and read this terrifying event described in Revelation chapter 6 beginning with verse 12.

Immediately after the great tribulation, Jesus Christ opens the sixth seal.

There is a great earthquake; the sun suddenly goes dark; and, the moon appears blood red.

Meteors fall from the sky.

Now notice, verse 17.

17 for the great day of his wrath has come, and who can stand before it?”

This is the day of the Lord.

This is that terrible and fearful time of God’s intervention in world affairs, when He will sternly yet in love chastise and punish a proud, defiant and disobedient mankind.

Then in Revelation chapter 8, the seventh seal is opened.

And in a vision, the apostle John sees seven angels with seven trumpets.

And when the first angel blew his trumpet, a gigantic firestorm consumes one-third of the trees and all of the grass.

The second angel sounded, and a third of the seas become blood, and a third of all sea creatures are wiped out.

A third of the ships are also destroyed.

Then the third angel sounded, and a third of the fresh water supply is contaminated with a lethal poison, killing many.

At the sound of the fourth angel, the normal cycle of day and night, light and darkness is disrupted.

Then the fifth angel blew his trumpet. It is the first of three woes, symbolizing the initial stage of World War III!!

The European superpower — the Bible calls the Beast — launches a sneak attack against Russia and its Oriental allies.

When the sixth angel blew his trumpet, the second woe or the second phase of World War III occurs.

An army of 200 million soldiers — led by Russia and China — retaliates against the cities of Europe and kills 250 million people.

The seventh angel blew his trumpet, so now the third woe is coming quickly.

The third woe or the seventh trumpet signals the return of Jesus Christ.

The blowing of the seventh trumpet also begins the terrifying seven last plagues which complete God’s wrath.

These seven last plagues are poured out in ONE, 24-hour day.

In the very presence of Jesus Christ and His holy angels.

In Revelation chapter 16 and verse 1, the seven angels, one after another, begin pouring out the bowls of the wrath of God.

The first angel poured out his bowl, and those who accepted the teachings of the great counterfeit church were afflicted with harmful, severely infected wounds.

The second angel poured out his bowl upon the sea which turns to blood, and  every living creature in the sea is killed.

Next, the third angel poured out his bowl, and the rivers and the lakes turn into blood.

Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, scorching humanity with intense heat!

The fifth angel poured out his bowl upon Jerusalem, filling the Headquarters of the Beast with darkness.

Humanity is filled with such wickedness and contempt for God that even the most terrifying and painful punishments will not bring them to repentance.

So, in order to get the world’s attention, God is going to be as hard and as tough as they make Him.

The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the Euphrates River, causing it to dry up COMPLETELY.

And, the armies of Russia and its Oriental allies confront the armies of the European superpower at the hill of Megiddo.

Just as a nuclear war is about to break out, Jesus Christ returns.

And instead of fighting against each other, both armies call a truce, unite their forces and head towards Jerusalem to fight their common enemy: Jesus Christ and His angelic army.

This climactic battle is not the battle of Armageddon. It is called “the battle of that great day of God Almighty” at the Valley of Jehoshaphat.

The Russian army and its Oriental allies, together with the European forces of the Beast, are slaughtered in a mighty display of God’s overwhelming power.

Finally, the seventh angel poured out his bowl — the seventh and final plague — into the air.

A massive earthquake, unprecedented in magnitude and intensity, shook the entire earth.

Then gigantic hailstones — weighing 130 pounds each — devastated the cities of the world.

Mankind now realizes that resistance and defiance against God is futile.

God had to humble and correct them so they would come to their senses, repent of their sins and surrender to God!

Now read Revelation chapter 18 and verse 4.

Here in the most plain and straightforward language, God admonishes people to “Come out of this world of sin. Stop breaking My commandments. Obey Me and do what I tell you. 

And I will protect you from these nightmarish plagues”.

And when mankind finally submits to His rule, God will bring about world peace, abundant prosperity, real happiness and fullness of joy in that wonderful world tomorrow.
