The return of Jesus Christ is going to shake up this entire earth and everybody on it!!

Almost two thousand years ago, the resurrected Jesus Christ ascended to heaven.

And He gave His disciples then and us today His firm promise that He was going to return to this earth (John 14:3).

Over the centuries, many have tried to pinpoint the exact date of Christ’s return.

All of their predictions, all of their speculations have failed.

Since Jesus Christ did not show up at their predicted time, many no longer expect Christ to come back at all (2 Peter 3:3-4).

Skeptics and scoffers try to convince us to forget what Bible prophecy says is coming!

They say, “Why should we pin our hopes on Jesus Christ and expect Him to be the final answer to all our problems?”

But we know that God says what He means; and, He mean what He says.

Here is what the Bible says, proving beyond any doubt that Christ WILL return to restore the government of God on the earth.

Notice Psalm 96 and verse 13.

13 For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth: He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth.

Another example is in Isaiah 40 and verse 10.

10 Behold, the Lord God shall come with a strong hand, And His arm shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him,
And His work before Him.

But that's Old Testament stuff, many modern critics will say.

The New Testament verses are just as explicit and irrefutable.

Matthew chapter 24 and verse 30.

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes [or nations] of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

He will be very visible.

He’s not going to stealthily sneak back into the earth undetected.

Everybody’s going to see Him coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory as a powerful warrior king leading His army of angels.

Turn to Hebrews 9 and verse 28.

28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

The return of Christ is the surest prophecy of all!!!

But exactly WHEN will Christ return?

The Bible doesn’t give us the exact date of Christ’s return.

No man knows.

Christ Himself does not know.

“Only My Father knows,” is what Christ Himself said (Matthew 24:36).

Man’s efforts to determine that day and that time is nothing but pure guesswork.

But we know it’s going to happen.

It isn’t wishful thinking.

Neither is it some fantasy.

It will happen.

God says it will.

And God cannot lie.

The triumphant and victorious return of Christ marks a turning point in the lives of all of mankind.

The failed record of man's rule over the last 6,000 years is ended, and the dominion of God is ushered in!

Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, will now restore the government of God on the earth.

For the very first time, humanity will experience real, lasting and meaningful change.

Unbridled joy, unparalleled satisfaction, real success and lasting prosperity will saturate and fill the whole earth.

NOW, God’s in charge and His way of life prevails!

The return of Jesus Christ is the surest prophecy of all!

It is not some wish or a vague desire or an empty hope.

It involves no dates; nor the linguistic mastery of Greek or Hebrew.

It requires no specialized knowledge of Babylonian or Egyptian chronologies.

We don't need to memorize dates for the creation or Noah's Flood or the Exodus out of Egypt.

Nor do we need to devise sophisticated mathematical formulas to calculate the ages of the patriarchs, the fall of Babylon or the rule of Artaxerxes.

What we will need, what we must have is that real, living faith OF Jesus Christ.

The faith to OBEY Him, yield to Him, unconditionally surrender to His will and DO what He says!
