The return of Jesus Christ will be a pivotal event in all of human history because EVERYTHING will change.

A major shift occurs from the miserable, the wretched and the depressing to all things happy, excellent and uplifting!

Notice Acts chapter 3 and verse 20.

20 and that He [referring to God the Father] may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,

21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

What times of RESTORATION is the chief apostle Peter referring to?

The restoration of the government of God!

What Peter said is not some fairy tale.

This is real.

God is the Architect.

He is the Power and the Force behind the phenomenal events that are about to unfold in our time.

It is going to happen because God in the Bible says it will.

These are not my words. These are God’s words.

They are recorded for everyone who is willing to listen and take heed.

The return of Jesus Christ will trigger dramatic, earth-shaking events that will change the course of human history.

FOREVER!

Here are THREE of those events that will have a profound and permanent impact upon all of mankind!

The first event is: God will put down and stamp out ALL RESISTANCE and ALL OPPOSITION.

Bible prophecy reveals that World War Three is about to erupt, threatening the extinction of all humanity.

A powerful coalition of ten European nations — led by what the Bible calls the Beast — launches a pre-emptive strike against Russia.

Then, Russia and its oriental allies retaliate with a blistering counter-attack on Europe.

Only to discover that the European forces had moved its headquarters to Jerusalem.

And so, this eastern superpower crosses over the dried-up riverbed of the Euphrates to confront the European forces at the plain of Megiddo.

With the fate of mankind hanging in the balance, Jesus Christ returns to the earth.

Instead of putting down their weapons, both opposing armies are convinced the returning Jesus Christ is the enemy.

They declare a truce and come together to fight against Jesus Christ.

They proceed to the Valley of Jehoshaphat to confront Jesus Christ.

So now, Christ is going to get as tough as man makes Him.

And the only way He will get man’s attention is through OVERWHELMING FORCE!

The book of Zechariah, chapter 14 and verse 12 graphically describes the carnage that follows as Jesus Christ TOTALLY crushes the opposition.

Zechariah 14 and verse 12.

12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

After that massive, mind-boggling slaughter, you would think that mankind should have learnt their lesson.

Unfortunately, they will continue to remain stubbornly defiant.

Man has always wanted to have it HIS way.

Not God’s way.

So they are going to have to learn their lesson the hard way.

That resistance against God is futile.

Both these armies are thoroughly defeated!

Jesus Christ has crushed ALL opposition in a dramatic display of awesome power and might.

And this is all accomplished because Jesus Christ has returned!

The NEXT monumental event that happens when Christ returns is Satan the devil is DETHRONED!

Revelation chapter 20, and verse 1.

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

So, Satan the devil, the god of this world, his time is done.

He is removed and shut up.

No longer able to spew his venom of deception.

Imagine a world with no Satan around.

No more ugliness, only beauty. No more filthiness, only purity. No more error, only truth.

Imagine the relief that will sweep the entire world when Satan’s influence is gone.

The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life.

No more!

He is the source, he is the instigator of all the mayhem, the turmoil, the chaos.

All the misery, all the hardship, all the suffering mankind has experienced these 6 thousand years.

Look at what happens when Satan is rendered totally powerless.

Isaiah chapter 25 and verse 7.

7 And he [speaking of Jesus Christ] will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

The counterfeit doctrines, the perverted and twisted teachings, the subtle lies that Satan has passed off as clean, pure and true will be swept away.

Religious confusion ENDED and replaced by the “knowledge of the Lord,” the whole truth of God!

That is the impact of this earth-shaking event!

Satan removed.

DETHRONED!

Rendered useless and ineffective.

Because Jesus Christ has come back to the earth!

There is so much more, but the third and final event we’re going to go through in this podcast is one that impacts everybody and everything very powerfully at Christ’s return: Jesus Christ restores God's world ruling government.

God’s government will be unlike any of the flawed and corrupt government systems man has devised.

It will be a theocracy with Almighty God in charge.

It will be a hierarchical form of government, from the top down.

No voting. No politicking. No dictatorship. No corrupt and despicable tyrants exercising evil.

God's government will be all about loving leadership.

Where those in charge will provide and care for, look after and protect the best interests of the people they have charge over.

It will be ruling everywhere. All over the world.

There won't be any place on the earth that His government does not reach and rule.

Turn to Revelation chapter 11.

Look at this wonderful picture of what happens when Christ is now King over all the earth.

Revelation 11 and verse 15.

15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

It is not a matter of Christ going to reign and then after a period of time He will stop reigning.

He will not be term-limited!

There is never going to be a time when He will no longer be ruling and overseeing HIS Kingdom right here on the earth.

He is not going to go off somewhere and leave the governing with somebody else.

His reign is going to be forever and ever and ever.

And forever means forever!

And His rule is going to change EVERYTHING on the earth.

For example, our educational system will be drastically changed.

To a system that teaches students not only HOW to make a living — learning a trade or a profession — but also learning HOW to live.

People are going to learn the true values, such as character development; living peaceably with neighbor; building a happy marriage and raising happy children.

More importantly, learning to obey God, worshipping Him in the manner that’s acceptable to Him.

Another example of what will be changed when the government of God is now operating on the earth is LAW and ORDER.

The laws of the government of God will now be in force and effect!

His Ten Commandments will be the fundamental law of the entire earth!

And HIS laws will guide each and every human being to walk in God’s ways and do things God’s way.

Turn to Isaiah chapter 2 and read verse 3.

3 And many people shall go and say, Come you, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

God’s government will enforce God's laws.

And they will be followed.

Lawbreakers will be dealt with swiftly and firmly.

God intended that HIS laws work out for OUR benefit so we can live full, sparkling lives filled with joy and satisfaction.

And the transformation will be dramatic!

For the very first time in human history, mankind will experience that fulness of joy.

Happiness, brim-full and overflowing.

Satisfaction. Contentment. Success.

With no adverse side effects.

God’s going to pour out His blessings.

You will be swamped, inundated with blessing after blessing on top of more and more blessings.

An avalanche of blessings running over, poured out abundantly from the Source of ALL good things, God Almighty.

For obeying Him and doing what’s right in His eyes.

The return of Jesus Christ is the ONLY solution, the ONLY hope for mankind.

Man’s 6,000 years of going his own way comes to a screeching halt!

A dramatic shift occurs.

A pivot from going in the wrong direction to heading in the right direction.

From being miserable to being happy.

A pivot from war and conflict and strife to lasting, endless peace and joy-filled abundant living.

A pivot from lawlessness to righteousness.

A pivot from mountainous curses to unprecedented, jaw-dropping blessings.

Jesus Christ is coming to bring true and lasting peace to a war-ravaged mankind.

He is coming to end all poverty, disease, ignorance, ugliness, filthiness, misery and suffering.

He will stop all crime, all violence.

He will fix all of the world's gargantuan problems.

He is coming to bring prosperity and success.

If you turn to God.

Repent and change.

And live your life by every word that He says, you will have this bright future.

That’s what the Bible actually says.

And that’s the good news we in the Constant Church of God are boldly proclaiming to the whole world.
